Andrew DeYoung has been a director, writer and/or editor of several short comedy films and videos since 2009 and TV series since 2016, and then finally was director/writer of his first feature with the acclaimed comedy,
Friendship (2024), co-starring Tim Robinson and
Paul Rudd, with Kate Mara and
Jack Dylan Grazer, and which was released by A24 after premiering in Toronto Film Festival’s Midnight Madness section, where it was the runner-up for the festival’s top prize, the People’s Choice Award.
