Georgina Campbell (birthname: Georgina Alice Campbell) has performed extensively in episodic and miniseries television, and—after eight years of stellar TV credits—began to land roles in movies, starting with Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017), starring Charlie Hunnam, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Jude Law, and Eric Bana, but delivering a poor box office number of $148.7 million on a $175 million budget. Campbell had her first big-screen starring role in writer-director Jonathan W. Stokes’s Iraq War-based thriller, Wildcat (2021), with Luke Benward and Mido Hamada.
Campbell co-starred in her third feature role in the British comic-horror movie, All My Friends Hate Me (2021), with Tom Stourton, Charley Clive, and Antonia Clarke, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released by BFI Distribution. Campbell made her biggest impression to date as lead in director-writer Zach Cregger’s acclaimed Detroit-based horror film, Barbarian (2022), with Bill Skarsgård, Justin Long, Matthew Patrick Davies, Richard Brake, and Kurt Braunohler, and which turned a tremendous profit for producers (including Regency Enterprises) and distributor 20th Century Studios with a $45.4 million global return on a $4 million budget.
Georgina Campbell starred in (and earned strong reviews for) debuting director-writer Teresa Sutherland’s horror movie, Lovely, Dark, and Deep (2023), with Nick Blood and Wai Ching Ho, and which premiered at the Fantasia film festival before a theatrical release by XYZ Films. Campbell co-starred with Dakota Fanning in director-writer Ishana Night Shyamalan’s first feature film, The Watchers (2024), based on A.M. Shine’s novel and released wide by Warner Bros. and then Georgina Campbell took a turn toward producing as executive producer on writer-director Kelsey Taylor’s contemporary re-telling of Little Red Riding Hood with To Kill a Wolf (2024), starring Michael Esper, Kaitlin Doubleday, and Maddison Brown.
Campbell co-starred opposite Liam Neeson in writer-producer David Koepp’s thriller, Cold Storage (2026), based on Koepp’s 2019 novel, with a cast including Joe Keery, Sosie Bacon, Lesley Manville, and Vanessa Redgrave under Jonny Campbell’s direction, and produced and released by StudioCanal. Campbell starred in the crime thriller, Psycho Killer (2026), with Logan Miller, James Preston Rogers, David Tomlinson, and Josh Strait under Gavin Polone’s direction, written by Andrew Kevin Walker, and produced by Constantin Film and New Regency Productions.
Georgina Campbell co-starred with David Dastmalchian in the horror thriller, The Shepherd (2026), directed by John Hyams, written by Alexander Gustaveson, produced by Spooky Pictures/Image Nation/Anton/Paperclip Ltd., and which was released by Magnolia Pictures. Campbell was an executive producer and cast member of the Canadian drama The Fallers (date to be announced), with Dan Abramovich, Robert Bazzocchi, Paula Brancati, and David Pinard, under Will Bowes’s direction, and produced by Night Market.
Campbell was then in the thriller Double Blind (date to be announced), starring LaKeith Stanfield and Maria Bakalova, directed by John Hyams, written and produced by F. Scott Frazier, and produced by Latigo Films/Bondit Media Capital/Buffalo 8 Productions.
Personal life
Georgina Campbell was born in Maidstone in County Kent, England, and was raised by a Jamaican-born father (police officer) and a British-born mother (teacher). Campbell has two sisters, Sarah and Ellie. Campbell’s parents divorced, and she was subsequently raised by her birth mother and stepfather (bookbinder), with the family living in Dartford, England. Campbell studied cinema and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London. Campbell’s height is 5’ 6”.
