Gloria Huwiler was born in Lusaka, Zambia to a Swiss German father and Zambian mother. Raised in Zambia and Namibia, Gloria left to pursue acting training at Oxford School of Drama (OSD) after high school. After completing the foundation course at OSD, she read International Relations at Brown University. There she participated in several theatrical productions, and continued to study acting and writing. She has since worked in theatre and film in New York, Los Angeles and London.
