Euphoria (2019-present), and had her first screen role as a voice actor on the English dub of writer-director
Mamoru Hosoda’s acclaimed sci-fi fantasy animated movie,
Belle (2021), with fellow voice actors Kylie McNeill, Paul Castro Jr., Jessica DiCicco, Manny Jacinto, and Chace Crawford.
Schafer had her live-action feature debut in the sequel,
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023), with Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage,
Jason Schwartzman, and
Viola Davis under
Francis Lawrence’s direction, and which was released by Lionsgate Films to a solid $337.4 million global gross.
Schafer was cast by filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos for his anthology black comedy,
Kinds of Kindness (2024), starring Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe,
Margaret Qualley, and
Hong Chau, which was released by Searchlight Pictures. Schafer had her first feature film starring role in director-writer
Tilman Singer’s horror-thriller,
Cuckoo (2024), with
Dan Stevens, Marton Csokas, Jan Bluthardt, and Jessica Henwick, and released by
Neon.
