Jonny Campbell (birthname: John Campbell) is a British director best known for his work in such prominent television series as Doctor Who (2010), In the Flesh (2013) and Westworld (2016) and made his feature debut as director of the British comedy, Alien Autopsy (2006), starring Ant & Dec, Bill Pullman, Harry Dean Stanton, Omid Djalili and Jimmy Carr, written and produced by William Davies, and which was released by Warner Bros. Pictures to a box office return of $4 million.
Campbell was director of his second feature twenty years after his first with the comedy horror Cold Storage (2026), starring Georgina Campbell, Joe Keery, Sosie Bacon, Vanessa Redgrave, Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson, written and produced by David Koepp adapting his own 2019 novel, produced and released in France by StudioCanal and released wide in the U.S. by Samuel Goldwyn Films.
Jonny Campbell was born and raised in the United Kingdom by his parents. Campbell studied German and French and graduated from Durham University.
