Madelaine Petsch (birthname: Madelaine Grobbelaar Petsch), though best known for her portrayal of Cheryl Blossom on the CW’s hit series, Riverdale (2017-2023), has built a diverse career as a YouTuber and feature film actor, beginning with a small role in co-writer/director David Yarovesky’s sci-fi horror movie, The Hive (2014). Petsch landed a supporting role in another horror movie, The Curse of Sleeping Beauty (2016), co-written and directed by Pearry Reginald Teo and released by XLrator Media.

Madelaine Petsch was born in Port Orchard, Washington, and was raised for the first ten years of her life in both Washington State and South Africa, by her parents Michele and Timothy Petsch. Petsch has one older brother, Shaun. Petsch attended and graduated from Tacoma School of the Arts, and then relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Petsch’s height is 5’ 5¾ ”.
