Ross is the writer of short films and on the TV series, Matador (2014), as well as the upcoming feature, Barbarian (production and release date not announced), about a Celtic uprising against the Roman Empire.

Rosalind Ross is in a relationship with actor-director Mel Gibson since 2014. The couple has a son, Lars Gerard Gibson, born in 2017. As an actor, Ross is credited as Rosalind Ruth Ross.
