Plot Summary

The Body is a 2024 Italian psychological thriller directed and edited by Vincenzo Alfieri, written by Alfieri and Giuseppe Stasi. The film is a remake of Oriol Paulo's 2012 Spanish mystery film of the same name, itself the source of multiple international adaptations, and is produced by Eagle Pictures and Sony Pictures International Productions. The film follows Inspector Corrado Cosser (Giuseppe Battiston), who is called in after a night watchman is run over outside a morgue and the body of wealthy businesswoman Rebecca Zuin (Claudia Gerini) goes missing. Her younger husband, Bruno Forlan (Andrea Di Luigi), is immediately suspected. The cast also includes Amanda Campana as Diana, Bruno's younger lover, and Andrea Sartoretti. Cinematography is by Andrea Reitano, with production design by Giancarlo Curio.
