Plot Summary

Panda Plan 2: The Magical Tribe (original title: Xiong Mao Ji Hua Zhi Bu Luo Qi Yu Ji) is a 2026 Chinese action-comedy adventure directed by Derek Hui and written by Keyang Pan. It is the sequel to Panda Plan (2024). Jackie Chan reprises his role as a fictionalised version of himself, joined by the returning giant panda Hu Hu. Action choreography is by Lyu Shi-jia, with production by Dora Long for Elight Pictures and Emei Film Group. The film was released theatrically in Asia on February 17, 2026, during the Lunar New Year window. Well Go USA Entertainment acquired North American distribution rights from Mandarin Motion Pictures and released the film in US theatres on April 17, 2026, after an earlier March 13 date was pushed back. Runs approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. For family audiences, fans of Jackie Chan's action-comedy work, and viewers who want a lighter all-ages adventure at the cinema.
